Coordinator Sales Execution
Reports to Country Manager
Position Overview
- Manage and grow portfolio of customers and opportunities for both POL DOUALA & KRIBI
- Cover MR and Geo-From customers Push-Pull as defined in Area Sales Steering concept
- Focus on medium and large accounts (small accounts covered mostly by Business Development)
- Deal directly with customers to develop, secure and maintain most profitable business
- Conduct sales planning and performance management as defined in enhanced Sales Process
- Approach customer through specified sales channels (e.g., KAM, reefer, import)
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer potential and conduct MR Sales Planning.
- Conduct Account Planning in CRM (e.g. develop value propositions)
- Evaluate customer potential and conduct MR Sales Planning.
- Review customer performance with Sales Manager and define actions
- Where appropriate for their market serve as specialists, eg Reefer, Commodity, Import, etc.
- Prepare and conduct visits, report and follow-up on visits
- Conclude contracts for MR customers (proposal negotiation closing)
- Record commitments (tender tracking/commercial)
- Drive CU business for foreign MRs and adhere to Push-Pull process
- Selectively engage in TM discussions on important matters (e.g., tender guidance and negotiations, special commodity market rates, etc.)
- Feedback m ark et information Get engaged in day-to-day TM pricing discussions but only when needed.
- Give clear info to Sales Coordination regarding pricing requirements to enable future communications with TM
- Provide clear info to Sales Coordination regarding handover to Customer Service
Qualifications
- Market Knowledge / Market Intelligence
- Receptive and be able to grasp new ideas and motivate oneself for personal development
- Capacity to build and develop long-term relationship with different hierarchy Level
- Data Analysis
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial role and customer service, preferably in the maritime sector
- Excellent communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of FIS and other HL systems
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Result driven team player with a proactive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure
- Goal and deadline driven
- Good time management skills
- Receptive and be able to grasp new ideas and motivate oneself for personal development
