Reports to Director BSD & IT Operations
Overview:
- Structures data in a logical way, analyzes it according to the respective business question and makes gained insights accessible for different stakeholders
- Develops and automates regular reports and performs ad-hoc data analysis based on different data sets with modern visualization tools and dashboards
- Consults business stakeholders in interpreting data and ensure they have all the necessary information for evidence-based decision making
- Constant exchanges with business, IT and Data teams to understand priorities, requirements and capabilities for creating analytical solution and consult on best practices and opportunities for implementing these.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, develop and implement innovative applications based on data provided by the business functions
- Designs intuitive and visually appealing dashboards using Qlik Sense
- Identifies and challenges data and analytics opportunities and improves the efficiency of data analysis processes
- Develops and executes database queries to analyze data and derive insights on specific (ad-hoc) questions
- Understands business needs and objectives
- Identifies and validates internal and external data sets generated from a diverse range of business and operational processes
- Transforms the results of analysis into information that can be communicated to stakeholders using dashboards and reports
- Interprets and analyses data, comparative analysis, benchmarking, trend analysis
- Brings data together to communicate clear themes and trends
- Focuses on data quality to provide confidence for making decisions on a single version of the truth.
- Takes over responsibility for analytics, data and BI in cross-functional projects and supports colleagues to access and understand data in their own area of expertise
- Collects, analyzes, and translates requirements to understand the business domains and processes to design solutions that effectively meet the needs of business users and stakeholders.
- Supports colleagues in the data & analytics community and throughout the business in using BI apps and solutions.
- Prepare necessary documentation needed to retain knowledge and safeguard operational stability of solutions.
Qualifications:
- University Degree, preferably in Information Systems or Data Science
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with QlikSense
- Experience in project management and system implementation
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems / applications
- Self-starter, self-motivated, resourceful, and responsive
- System proficiency
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, set priorities, organize work, and implement action items.
- Examine issues and problems effectively, generating possible solutions.
- Ability to adapt to the company's business strategy.
- Ability to provide effective service to internal and external customers.
- Ability to build, maintain and develop partnerships with individuals and groups within the organization.
