About Corporate Audit

Corporate Audit serves as the audit and consulting function reporting directly to the Executive Board. We operate globally with teams in Hamburg, Dubai, Singapore, and Santiago, and our mandate is broad:

  • We conduct risk-based audits across business units and holdings

  • We lead confidential investigations into irregularities

  • And we support management through consulting-style projects focused on improvement, transformation, and control optimization

Responsibilities

Corporate Audit serves as the audit and consulting function reporting directly to the Executive Board. We operate globally with teams in Hamburg, Dubai, Singapore, and Santiago, and our mandate is broad:

  • Leading and executing complex, high-value audit assignments with exposure to diverse business areas

  • Acting as a change agent — identifying gaps, proposing improvements, and advising management on practical solutions, leveraging on our data capabilities

  • Delivering audits end-to-end, from planning through execution to senior-level reporting

  • Presenting findings and recommendations to senior and executive management

  • Drafting clear, compelling reports that speak the language of business and drive action

  • Partnering with stakeholders to support the implementation of recommendations

  • Evaluating the design and effectiveness of internal controls and risk frameworks

  • Participating in strategic consulting projects to support management in achieving business objectives

  • Contributing to the annual risk-based audit planning

  • Conducting confidential investigations, including interviewing relevant parties

Requirements

We are looking for professionals who are proactive, analytical, and motivated to make an impact. Ideal candidates will have:

  • A desire to grow a global career and make meaningful contributions beyond borders

  • Background in audit is a good to have (not a must), consulting, or operational roles — preferably within shipping, logistics, or related industries

  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to quickly understand complex business processes

  • Experience or interest in data analytics and digital tools (such as Qlik, Alteryx etc) is a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent communication skills — both in crafting concise written reports and delivering presentations with confidence

  • A collaborative, team-oriented attitude, and high level of professional integrity

  • Chinese language skills (advantageous for engaging with regional partners)

  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%
