Main Objectives of this position:

Responsible for driving performance and supporting the commercial organization for vertical BCO or NVO. This role focuses on performance management, market development analysis, opportunity management and strategy execution for the said vertical.   

Function and Duties:

  • Regularly track and report on KPI deliverables, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions where needed.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and insights to senior leadership regarding vertical performance, competitive dynamics, and market trends.
  • Analyze market trends, customer demand, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and propose refining of strategic direction.
  • Manage in coordination with Vertical leads & Sales Director a high-quality sales / tender pipeline management and forecast accuracy across the vertical.
  • Guide & support countries on Vertical related targets and matters.
  • Support the execution of vertical strategies through close liaison with Vertical leads, Sales Director and Commercial steering.
  • Participate in regular collaboration calls with global teams.
  • Project management works relating to vertical

Qualifications and Technical Job Requirements:

  • University degree
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of commercial experience in liner shipping business, logistics, or supply chain industry, with a focus on vertical sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding commercial targets in a competitive B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of the Southeast Asia trade landscape, customer base, and industry dynamics.
  • Experience in connecting and influencing cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce) and data analytics for sales performance tracking.
  • Good understanding of sales processes
  • Above average knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point and Think Cell)
  • Result driven team player with a proactive attitude
