Main Objectives of this position:
Perform quality audits as per laid down policies and ensuring that SOPs are followed, and deviations are addressed on a timely basis
Function and duties:
- Performing quality audit across AR, AP and GL
- Ensure compliance with the laid down policies
- Submission and discussion of reports
- Verification of FSCM comments on overdue receivables
- Verification of operational and overhead invoices as to whether approvals are in place, local sales taxes/GST is properly recorded, income tax is deducted as per applicable provisions
- Supporting other tasks in the quality function
Qualifications and Technical Job Requirements:
- Graduate or postgraduate with good academic record
- Good understanding of accounting standards, knowledge of GST, TDS, Income tax
- Exposure to SAP would be preferred, good excel skills
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience, shipping industry would be preferred
