Minimum Qualifications
- Min. 2 years sales experience in shipping and/or logistics companies.
- Reporting Commercial Inland Steering Manager.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Proactive manner and distinctive goal orientation.
- Methodical skills and efficient way of working / good in basic Analytics (Excel / QlikView)
- Agile and team player.
- Analytical and creative thinking skills.
- No military obligation for male candidates.
- No restriction to travel in Turkiye.
- Valid B class driver’s licence.
Essential Functions
- Evaluate customer potential and conduct Inland Sales Planning.
- Continuously improve the customer portfolio by securing new Inland moves with untapped Inland customers, not currently tackled as part of the Ocean sales.
- Cooperate with your Ocean Sales counterpart to ensure that all Inland potential of existing accounts is exhausted.
- Support the Ocean Sales Executives in their Inland sales activities for their existing accounts with your (technical) expertise.
- Ensure regular updates of all activities in Salesforce.
- Review customer performance with Commercial Inland Steering Manager and define appropriate actions.
- Prepare and conduct visits, report and follow-up on visits.
- Conclude Inland contracts for your customers (proposal, negotiation, closing).
- Drive attached and separated business for foreign MRs and adhere to Push-Pull process.
- Selectively engage in tender management discussions where relevant (e.g., tender guidance and negotiations, special commodity market rates, etc.).
- Provide customer feedback on Inland offering to all relevant internal stakeholders.
- Give clear info to Commercial Inland Steering regarding pricing requirements to enable future communications with Trade Management.
