Regional Performance Management and Sales Excellence Role

The Regional Performance Management and Sales Excellence role supports functions essential to Sales effectiveness, including planning, Budgeting, target setting, Sales Delivery, market coverage, sales process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and Drive Sales performance in the area in line with the Sales targets
  • Conduct performance reviews through area performance meetings to assess progress against targets and identify areas for improvement
  • Prepare and present performance Management decks, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Establish feedback mechanisms to gather insights from the sales force and use this information to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to the sales process through regular check-ins and area visits.
  • Drive sales opportunity and pipeline management processes.
  • Assist areas in identifying process bottlenecks and opportunities for productivity gains (e.g., online customer conversions, offshoring).

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years in shipping industry with a good understanding of the commercial activity
  • A Bachelor or equivalent degree
  • Prior experience of handling senior stake holders is a must
  • Experience in the African market is an added advantage
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
