What are we looking for?

  • More than 5 year’s experience in similar positions, Logistics and shipping or transportation industry
  • University Degree, Industrial or Civil Engineer or similar
  • Fluent in spoken and written English & Spanish
  • Advanced Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, cost analysis and reporting. Including experience in preparing and presenting these results
  • Experience working in collaboration with various internal departments. This includes guiding and motivating departments, influencing their actions, and effectively managing coordination meetings.

As a Senior Manager Equipment Management, your responsibilities will include:

  • Management of empty equipment stock levels turntimes, overdues and offhires throughout geographic areas within the Region.
  • Liaise with internal departments to plan timely movement and availability of equipment.
  • Responsible for the development of regional initiatives and process optimization
  • Creates action plans for equipment imbalance issues.
  • Ensures that company systems are updated correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Assists internal stakeholders with equipment related issues.
  • Accountable for logistic problem resolution within the region.
  • S&D cost analysis and cost saving initiatives.
  • Provides training for staff on new systems, regulations and requirements.
