What are we looking for?
- More than 5 year’s experience in similar positions, Logistics and shipping or transportation industry
- University Degree, Industrial or Civil Engineer or similar
- Fluent in spoken and written English & Spanish
- Advanced Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, cost analysis and reporting. Including experience in preparing and presenting these results
- Experience working in collaboration with various internal departments. This includes guiding and motivating departments, influencing their actions, and effectively managing coordination meetings.
As a Senior Manager Equipment Management, your responsibilities will include:
- Management of empty equipment stock levels turntimes, overdues and offhires throughout geographic areas within the Region.
- Liaise with internal departments to plan timely movement and availability of equipment.
- Responsible for the development of regional initiatives and process optimization
- Creates action plans for equipment imbalance issues.
- Ensures that company systems are updated correctly and in a timely manner.
- Assists internal stakeholders with equipment related issues.
- Accountable for logistic problem resolution within the region.
- S&D cost analysis and cost saving initiatives.
- Provides training for staff on new systems, regulations and requirements.
