THE ROLE

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst for Requirements Engineering with expertise in technical IT systems to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that our IT systems align with organizational goals and deliver exceptional value. You will gather, analyze, and translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications. Your work will play a crucial role in driving innovation and operational efficiency across our IT landscape and across locations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business teams, developers, and system architects, to gather and analyze requirements for IT systems.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring feasibility and alignment with system capabilities.
  • Document and maintain detailed functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring clarity for all stakeholders.
  • Assist in designing system workflows, interfaces, and data exchanges to meet business needs.
  • Coordinate with development teams to ensure successful implementation of requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, ensuring alignment and addressing any gaps.
  • Validate implemented solutions through testing and feedback, ensuring they meet documented requirements.
  • Continuously refine processes for requirements gathering and documentation to enhance efficiency.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Technical

  • Proven experience as a Requirements Engineer, Business Analyst, or similar role in IT-focused projects.
  • Strong understanding of technical IT systems, architectures, and integrations.
  • Proficiency in requirements elicitation techniques, such as interviews, workshops, and document analysis.
  • Ability to create clear and detailed technical documentation, including system specifications, user stories, and process flows.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or other requirements management platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).

Personal

  • Require 5 to 7 years of technology experience with trending technologies.
  • Logistics and Shipping domain experience preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in design and development of software, experience with large multinational organisations is highly preferred.
