The roughly 2,600 employees assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment handle terminal-related activities and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations.
Main Objectives
Ensure the highest level of quality when interacting with our customers, be customer-oriented and create value for customers as well as for Hapag-Lloyd
Function and duties
• Support the Sales Executives with relevant sales tasks including follow up on ongoing and new business with customers
- Preparing and sending of rate quotations to customers
- Monitor quotation and customer performance including tenders and follow up with customers where required
- Give clear handover info to Customer Service (and Operations where required)
- Assist Customer Service with problem solving related to a customer issues where required
- Handling updating of Salesforce with customer calls, rate offers, customer follow ups done
- Handling of bids / tenders for local customers using the relevant tools
- Sales contract management / Rate Agreement handling (incl. FMC filing where necessary)
- Customer data management in Hapag-Lloyd system and Salesforce
- Dispute and exception handling
Qualifications and Technical Job Requirements
• Experience in maritime industry
• Experience in Sales and/or Customer Service functions
• Negotiation, decision-making, self-confident and friendly when dealing with others
• Demonstrated strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to be multi-task, set priorities, organize work and implement action items
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and good interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of user application systems (Salesforce, MS Office)
• Thai Native Speaker and Fluent in English
Success Criteria for Position
• Sales, Customer Service and Account Management experience.
• Experience using sales tracking or customer relationship management.
