Overall Job Purpose:
The holder of this position develops small to medium size customers under his/her portfolio and promotes all digital products for Hapag-Lloyd to our customers ensuring the highest level of quality when interacting with them being customer-oriented and value for customers as well as for Hapag-Lloyd.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on small customers
- Responsible to grow the portfolio of core accounts (<100 teu per year) and attend to their queries in a timely manner
- Sales lead management and handling
- Full selling responsibility, for both new and existing customers
- Deliver and follow up quotations
- Handle "Back office" activities
- FIS RA creation, maintenance and handling of SC's
- Procedure application for New Customers Validation
- Coordination of RA matter with CS
- Issuance and requesting of FMC rates filing.
- Proactive behavior during phone calls to get information about potential customer business and to meet his necessities
- Follow up commercial tasks
- Handle SRR with TM/Area
- Hunt for new cargo and customers
- Market research
- Reporting of sales calls (CRM)
- Follow up on sales leads
- Weekly Follow up
- E-business focus for proactive selling of HL Digital products
Qualification:
- University Degree /Technical Diploma Foreign Trade.
- 2-3 years of experience
- Experience in multinational companies.
- Knowledge in industries of transportation items, shipping or international trade
- Very good command of written and spoken English Working knowledge of MS Office
- Able to work well with others and follow guidelines
- Positive attitude & team spirit
- Self-motivated to drive result and being organized
