Main Objectives of this position:

 

·       Responsible for Cargo Operations functionalities pertaining to Vessel Operations in Areas under scope of QSC region.

·       As QSC Cargo Ops Supervisor has, an overall responsibility of Monitoring execution of Cargo Operations for HL Area assigned under scope of QSC.

 

Functions and Duties:

 

To ensure overall Port & Terminal Operations task for location under scope of QSC to be carried out within set cutoffs and defined KPI. General Tasks and Responsibilities as under :

 

Prior Vessel Arrives :

 

·       To ensure tasks completion as per agreed SLA with Areas / Region.

·       Co-ordinate with Central Planner / Partners to get HL Allocation

·       Get Loadable Allocation / POD wise Allocation from RMEallocation Team.

·       Check DG Bookings, in case of any deviation co-ordinate with local CS Team and RME DG Desk

·       Check HL Empty Repo Plans from ED team duly approved by RMEallocation & Include in CBF.

·       Prepare and submit CBF / TBU to CP. (For HL Vessels, co-ordinate with Partners / SOC Operators For Partner vessel submit our CBF to them as per their required format)

·       Forward our Arrival EDI BAPLIE file, which is received from CP to Terminal and Imp desk.

·       Check customs status (TCST Report for ENS / SI missing) and revert with mismatch report to CS.

·       Create and evaluate no move status for containers.

·       Insert container no. and stowage position for DG

·       Submit DG, Reefer, OOG Manifest’s to Terminal and Vessel Master in case of HL Operated vessel.

·       Check on watchdog / DG hold containers.

·       Provide load list to Terminal.

·       In case of Over Allocation, check with RMEallocation for priority list, in order to submit Load list

·       Submit HL and Partners / SOC Final Allocation to Terminal (Only for HL Vessels).

 

Support Tasks:

 

i)     Operational Related -

 

                   To monitor Vessel schedule updates in FIS.

                   Sharing LTS to all Terminals.

                   Preparing Daily In-yard Export status report and distribute to all relevant desk

                   Ensure all the port related issues are attended/solved without any delay within BSC Scope.

                   PCC to be performed by Cargo Ops for all vessel phase-out and phase-in plan.

                   Supporting CS/Sales Team, for all operational related queries from Customer side on time.

                  Getting and sharing Vessel details (Any delay / Phase in-out / Adhoc calls) from Area / RME to Customer Service Team (Only back-up for Area Operations Listing Rollovers to Terminal as per desired routing given by RMEallocation in case of Omissions.

Work Orders / Cost Related -

 

                   Maintain / Follow the assigned daily reports for missing vessel work orders.

                  Close monitoring of all VIM Hits raised by GSC Finance team for all WO related query in order for smooth Invoice Posting process.

                   Responsible to clear all Terminal Invoices within stipulated time.

                  Performing operational recoveries from concern parties whenever required (Any debit to Terminal Account, Operational vendors, Port of loading etc).

                   Raising SAP Manual Work orders for exceptional or Related to Adhoc Operational Activities.

                   Co-ordination and completion of ICCL Reports.

                   Co-coordinating with Area Ops team for getting waiver from Terminal on HL Account cost related.

 

Key points :

-        Overall monitoring Team performance.

-        Ability to submit all operational reports

-        Back up for user level and Manager.

-        Provide training to new users and refresh training to existing staffs.

-        Generate and monitor daily reports and get the work done from team.

Ø  Collaboration and escalation point with all Internal and External stakeholders involved box-related processes for the Area/QSC Cargo Execution colleagues.

 

Qualifications and Technical Job Requirements:

 

 

·       7+ years of experience in Liner Shipping industry

·       Overall expert knowledge of Port & Marine Operations, Cost Control Understanding of port, transport, equipment, M&R functions

·       Expert knowledge of user application systems (MS Office & Reportings).

·       Understanding of data quality benchmarking and KPI management.
