Main Objective

  • We are seeking a passionate and nurturing HR professional to hone the Regional Centre of Excellence for Performance and Talent management to deliever programs that foster a performance culture and talent development across the region. This role also manages high-potential (Hi-Po) programs, overseeing the nomination, development, and growth of future leaders through career conversations.
  • This role will also work closely with the regional L&D Specialist to embed a strong learning and training culture across the region as well as support Leadership development. 

Responsibilities

Talent Management 

  • Hi-Po Program Leadership: Drive and manage the full cycle of the Hi-Po Program, including nomination, selection, 3-year development plans and graduation of key talents across the region.
  • Talent Pipeline Management: Ensure the development and readiness of a strong talent pipeline for critical roles in the region by assessing talent gaps and developing tailored solutions.
  • Career Management: Coach talents through their talent development journey and advice on their career paths, offering guidance on skills development and career growth opportunities. Provide one-on-one career coaching, helping talents overcome challenges, improve competencies, and develop leadership capabilities.

Performance Management & Talent Conversations 

  • Performance Management Guidance: Own, drive and deliver on annual Performance Review activities as well as provide regional guidance on performance management processes, ensuring alignment with the company’s global and regional objectives. 
  • Talent Conversations: Lead the facilitation of talent conversations across the region, ensuring robust discussions around development plans, succession planning, and career progression for key talent. 
  • Strategic Advisor: Serve as a strategic advisor to business units and the regional HQ on performance reviews, development planning, and effective implementation of employee development frameworks.

Stakeholders Management

  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with regional business units, HR Business Partners, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment of talent strategies with business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) advantageous.
  • 5-8 years of experience in Talent Management, career management, coaching or related HR functions, with at least 3 years in a regional role.
  • Proven experience in designing and leading Hi-Po programs, performance management processes. 
  • Experience in a multinational environment with a solid understanding of cultural dynamics and challenges within the Asia.
  • Strong command in Mandarin language is advantageous to engage stakeholders in China. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in psychometrics assessments such as MBTI, Ennegram, Hogan would be a strong advantage.
