With a fleet of 287 modern container ships and a Vessel Capacity 2.2 million TEU, as well as a Container Capacity 3.2 million TEU including one of the world’s largest and most modern reefer container fleets, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world’s leading liner shipping companies. In the Terminal & Infrastructure segment, Hapag-Lloyd has stakes in 20 terminals in Europe, Latin America, the United States, India, and North Africa. The roughly 2.600 employees assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment deal with terminal-related activities and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

  • You will work on exciting projects for Strategy 2030 that will help deliver Quality promises
  • You will be responsible for updating and consolidating our internal reports related to Quality promises
  • You will support our project teams in performance management and progress on Quality promises
  • You will contribute to the comprehensive preparation and provision of decision-critical data, as well as the acquisition of new insights by developing meaningful reports
  • You will support the preparation and follow-up of meetings (coordination, data analysis) and be available for ad-hoc support, e.g., for the creation of presentations/documents
  • You will assist our project teams in monitoring project progress and addressing anticipated challenges
  • You will support project teams to ensure that Quality Promises and metrics are accurately tested and validated before implementation
  • You will support the Business Owner/Quality Promise Owner with process mapping, validation, and relevant data analysis for Quality Promise implementation

Your Qualifications

  • You are currently completing a degree (full-time enrollment) with a focus on logistics, supply chain, business administration, engineering or economics
  • You enjoy working analytically and conceptually and, in addition to your very good Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • You are interested in further developing your skills in using BI tools such as Qlik Sense
  • Very good communication skills in German and English (spoken and written)
  • You don't just set goals, you pursue them and have successfully completed them in the past

Good to know

  • You start with us as soon as possible and work approx. 20 hours per week 
  • During the semester break you can increase your hours up to 38 hours
  • You are able to come to our Hamburg office twice a week 
  • We are currently planning your assignment for 12 months with the option of an extension and will, of course, also take your course of studies into account
