Hanseatic Global Terminals (HGT) is Hapag-Lloyd’s newly started terminal and infrastructure business division based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager PMO to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for spearheading business development initiatives and managing strategic projects aimed at expanding our portfolio and driving sustainable growth. Please note that you have to eligible to work in the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of strategic initiatives to drive transformation and growth within the division, under the guidance of the Head of Transformation;
- Cooperate with Head of Transformation on planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects, assisting developing project plans, timelines and budgets and ensuring appropriate project processes & methodologies are followed;
- Track project performance, identifying risks and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and maximize project success;
- Support efficient communication with stakeholders to provide updates, manage expectations, and ensure transparency throughout the project life-cycle as well as execute on stakeholder engagement and communication efforts;
- Collaborate with project and operations managers to ensure alignment and support in embedding new ways of working within the organization;
- Support change management initiatives to facilitate organizational readiness and adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working;
- Assist in delivering regular reports, presentations, and updates to senior leadership, highlighting project status, milestones, key metrics, and insight.
Qualifications
- Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;
- Project management expertise with proven experience including familiarity with project management methodologies;
- Good organizational and multitasking skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
- Analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making and problem-solving;
- Ability to navigate Hapag-Lloyd's corporate environment, collaborate with departments, and leverage internal networks is a plus;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset – A true team player with cultural awareness;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS projects);
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written;
