To be part of our dynamic and passionate world, we are looking for a Coordinator Cargo Operations, who will be working in our Izmir office.

 We are looking for;

  • Min 2 years of experience in Marine Operations (Terminal and Vessel related operations) is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Able to adapt to flexible working days and hours.
  • Proficiency in MS office applications. “Especially Excel”
  • Agile and team player.
  • Open for improvement.
  • No military obligation for male candidates.

  Key responsibilities;

  • Supervising and following Vessel, Port and Cargo Operations in accordance with local rules / regulations and safety/ security procedures
  • Tracing shipments to assure that all containers load as booked.
  • Checking information at the terminal and Hapag-Lloyd systems against actual documentation and for  indications of hazardous cargo.
  • Providing forecasts to terminals, third party operators and vessel planners on cargo set to sail.
  • Being the initial point of contact for claims, notifying the proper parties of damaged equipment/cargo and arranging for surveys to be conducted.
  • Preparing hazardous manifests and collecting hazardous dock receipts; hazardous dock receipts are combined with the information contained within the booking.
  • Maintaining all vessel arrival and departure information as required for all related parties.
  • Validating invoices for storage, reefer monitoring and various terminal costs.
  • Reconciling cargo booked for vessels at cut off dates to avoid imbalances at the terminal.
  • Arranging and providing cost estimates for special shipments (ie: out-of-gauge, stowage, lashing, securing).
  • Solving terminal booking problems, updating systems and assisting customers and drivers with issues.
  • Informing HL-DG division for all matters related with local laws – regulation and DG cargoes.
  • Organize seal supply and distribution among local DEPOT.
  • Create SAP-PO whenever is applicable for port-terminal related charges.
  • Check all invoices issued by terminal operators for stevedoring and terminal related charges prior releasing same to accounting
