We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to lead the transformation of our L&D department. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the IT field, with a focus on creating and implementing learning solutions for various technological areas such as Java, SAP, and IT infrastructure support. You will play a critical role in defining our L&D strategy, designing innovative learning programs, and ensuring the continuous development of our employees to meet business objectives. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Redefine the L&D department’s vision, strategy, and operational goals to align with business objectives.
- Partner with department heads to assess training needs and develop learning roadmaps for different technological domains.
- Learning Program Development:
- Design and implement learning offerings focused on key IT areas such as Java, SAP, IT infrastructure support, cloud technologies, and emerging tech.
- Create blended learning programs combining e-learning, workshops, and hands-on training.
- Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and incorporate them into the training modules.
- Training Needs Analysis:
- Conduct assessments and gap analyses to identify areas for employee skill development and future learning needs.
- Customize training plans for teams and individuals based on skill levels and business goals.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with the HR team, technical experts, and senior management to ensure alignment of learning initiatives with company goals.
- Collaborate with external vendors to source specialized training when needed.
- Program Implementation & Evaluation:
- Oversee the deployment and management of learning programs, ensuring smooth execution.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of learning programs using key metrics and feedback.
- Continuously improve programs based on evaluations and emerging trends.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Mentor and coach a team of L&D specialists, ensuring their growth and development.
Present L&D strategies and updates to senior leadership, articulating the value of continuous learning.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in the IT industry, with proven expertise in L&D, training, or organizational development.
- Strong understanding of technical areas such as Java, SAP, IT infrastructure support, cloud technologies, and software development.
- Experience in designing and implementing learning programs in an IT context.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing L&D teams or projects.
- Knowledge of e-learning platforms, instructional design principles, and learning management systems (LMS).
Analytical mindset with the ability to measure learning outcomes and improve programs based on data.
