Job Description

Hapag-Lloyd AG, a leading computer software company, is seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for leading and facilitating the agile development process, ensuring the team follows Scrum practices and principles.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Coaching and mentoring team members on agile methodologies
  • Removing any obstacles that may hinder the team's progress
  • Ensuring the team delivers high-quality products within the agreed timeline.
  • Collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize and manage the product backlog
  • Continuously improving the team's processes and practices.

Required Profile

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an IT environment
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience working with remote teams - Scrum Master certification is a plus
