Become part of the Global Inland Center to organize, monitor and drive project Optimus and other inland related projects. You will be responsible to support different project workstreams, including close collaboration with various stakeholders on Corporate, Regional & Area level. Jointly with the Optimus PMO team, you will create individual roll-out plans per Area and monitor adherence. Together with the Global Inland team you will be responsible for co-designing the future inland strategy and help implement it both locally as well as centrally.

Your responsibilities:

  • Join the Optimus PMO and ensure a smooth global roll-out
  • Drive change management in the organization and organize internal communication and information sharing
  • Drive the success and communicate project progress to the relevant stakeholders
  • Develop and manage project plans and schedules for Optimus and related projects
  • Support the planning and execution of new (sub-)projects from ideation to completion
  • Prepare presentations for (senior) stakeholder communication and alignment and manage stakeholder relationships for different departments
  • Prepare ad-hoc performance analysis and conduct market benchmarking
  • Monitor and track project progress, identify and mitigate risks
  • Ensure that project milestones are delivered on time and to scope
  • Close out interim project milestones, derive lessons learned and help adjust concept as needed
  • Act as point of entry for Regions and Areas for project related inland topics
  • Help to achieve ambitious inland growth & performance targets

 

Your profile:

  • University degree in project management, business studies, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Initial project management experience – previous work experience in project management or a related business field
  • Holistic knowledge about the shipping industry and the inland transportation market
  • Experience with various project management tools and techniques
  • Proficiency in MS Excel with the ability to analyze data effectively
  • Strong skills in MS PowerPoint, with the ability to create clear and concise storylines from complex topics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in English at a business level
