Responsibilities

  • Preparing and sending of rate quotations, follow up with customers after the quotations.
  • Coordinating with Trade Management for rate agreement and service contract proposals and special rate offers
  • Maintaining contracts and rate agreements, including filing, publishing of rates, service contracts and amendments with the FMC.
  • Bids / Tenders management and co-ordination.
  • Customer management, which includes inter-departmental coordination for various matters involving customers requests, requirements or disputes.
  • Campaign management and co-ordination of mass mailings to customers using Microsoft CRM
  • Customer Data Management (Organizational Catalogue)
  • Clear customer handover to Customer Service and Assist Customer Service with Problem Solving regarding rates / revenues where needed

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics/shipping/transportation industry.
  • 1-2 years’ relevant Sales or Customer Relationship Management experience in liner shipping/transportation industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to develop good relationships across all levels
  • Motivated, proactive and reliable
  • A team player with ability to work under pressure
  • Analytical, creative, and efficient way of work
  • Well organized with good time management skills
  • Willing to take ownership of tasks and responsibility
  • Maintains a high level of commitment and work ethic while carrying out duties/responsibilities
