Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Lead High-Value Projects: Manage complex and strategically significant projects across various categories and geographies
  • Global Stakeholder Support: Assist stakeholders worldwide with tenders, re-negotiations, large-scale analytical exercises, and operational reviews
  • Pipeline Development: Collaborate with global and regional procurement teams to develop a robust project pipeline, ensuring optimal support for maximizing business value
  • Project Accountability: Oversee advanced and complex projects, ensuring effective management across spend and categories
  • Cross-Category Leadership: Support and lead work streams for various categories, handling projects with annual spend ranging from millions to multi-millions of dollars
  • Strategic Sourcing Consultancy: Engage in diverse strategic sourcing activities, including:
    • Leading creative workshops with suppliers and internal stakeholders
    • Developing analytical models to evaluate supplier offers and quantify total costs and ownership values
    • Mapping and analyzing current spend patterns to identify cost drivers and opportunities in complex markets
    • Communicating complex messages compellingly to senior business leaders.
    • Preparing for various types of negotiations
  • Execution and Delivery: Take significant responsibility from the start, ensuring timely execution and delivery in alignment with ambitious savings targets

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • We seek individuals who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and excel as team players with strong analytical abilities and communication skills
  • 7-10 years in procurement consulting
  • Proven track record in leading procurement consulting projects or sourcing initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent) is a plus
  • Mastery of procurement methodologies, best practices, and negotiation techniques
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in procurement software and technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage project resources, including team coordination, workload distribution, and ensuring optimal utilization of skills and capabilities.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality results under pressure, both individually and as part of a team.
  • A top performer with a demonstrated ability to execute tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communicator, capable of conveying complex information clearly and persuasively
