Responsibilities & Tasks:

To match the new speed of our quality- and efficiency-driven business in a world of rapid and accelerating changes, our colleagues need to combine stronger functional, technical and leadership competencies to drive performance in an increasingly competitive market. In addition, we need to build up these capabilities at a rapid pace - and the engine that’s going to get us there is the Hapag-Lloyd Academy.

  • Manage the planning and execution of training events, including scheduling, venue selection and vendor coordination
  • Manage the logistical aspects of training sessions, such as room setup, equipment provision, and catering arrangements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure training materials and resources are provided and distributed effectively
  • Act as the main point of contact for trainers and participants, addressing any inquiries or concerns related to training events
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training logistics processes and identify opportunities for improvement

Profile & Qualifications:

  • Several years of professional experience in event management or training coordination, with a proven track record of successfully organizing large-scale events
  • Strong understanding of how training events operate, including familiarity with training materials, resources, and delivery methods
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented mindset, with a keen eye for identifying and managing logistical challenges
