The roughly 2,600 employees assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment handle terminal-related activities and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Definition of strategic rationale behind various forms of collaboration and the preferred option for HL
  •  Creation and preparation of operational and market analyses, with the focus on terminal capacities & capabilities, HL demands and market/ port developments
  • Preparation of strategic decision templates for the Senior Management and the Executive Board
  •  Support of various terminal investment projects, with being the source of information on global terminal market developments
  •  Collaboration and communication with relevant stakeholders (business & finance) and Global Procurement Terminal & Transport internal
  •  Development of problem-solving approaches and flexible adaptation under consideration of various inputs
  • Facilitation of method and process improvements such as standardization and harmonization, supply with best practices etc.
  • Internal Project Management for overarching, strategic projects

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • University degree, ideally a Master's or MBA with a focus on business administration, logistics or strategic management
  •  Several years of experience in project management, procurement and / or other operational roles e.g. Network / Regional Operations
  • Experience in management consulting, strategy, or corporate development beneficial
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, out-of-the-box-thinking
  •  Independent and proactive working style, high self-motivation and commitment
  •  Reliable team player with high enthusiasm and excellent stakeholder management skills, confident demeanor and superior argumentation
  • Fluent oral and written communication skills in German and English
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially MS PowerPoint
  •  Competent in data analysis using Qlikview, Webfocus, Tableau
