Your responsibilities

As part of Network and Assets Controlling team, you will partner with key stakeholders such Network and Fleet departments to drive financial performance by providing leadership, insight and guidance on financial information and business performance. This team connects financial and operational performance data providing valuable insights into our business.

Your tasks would include:

  • Responsibility for Ship system Cost controlling (SSY) within Liner Shipping Controlling
  • Business Partner with Network and Cooperation and Fleet relating to result and forecast
  • Analysis and commentary of plan/actual deviations in the context of monthly/quarterly closing as well as budget/forecasting processes reporting to the Executive Board
  • Working closely with other teams on continuous improvement of processes and digital tool development for reporting, planning, forecasting and controlling
  • Prepare and consolidate monthly reports and key figures reports to support business steering and decision making
  • Participation in projects and preparation of relevant analyses
  • Support the Management for adhoc analysis and report preparation

Your profile

  • Degree in Economics/ Science / Business / Statistics or similar qualification
  • High affinity for numbers and data; good analytical skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Team player + Collaboration in cross functional team
  • Excellent skills in MS Office tools particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with BI tools (Board, Infor, QlikView) desirable
  • Fluent in English is expected (written and spoken)
  • Previous experience in Controlling or IT field is a plus
