The Data Insights & AI team designs and builds analytics solutions to provide insightful answers to our colleagues worldwide. We work in small, cross-functional teams jointly with specialists across the business. You share an office with a diverse team of likeminded Data Scientists, Visualization Experts, Data Engineers and colleagues with in-depth knowledge about our business.

Your responsibilities:

  • As part of our team, you will design the right datasets that help the business to make a difference
  • Your responsibilities will include building, optimizing, and maintaining high-quality data pipelines and datasets
  • Working closely with our Product Owners, Data Scientists, and Visualization Experts, you will ensure that we solve the right challenges and transform data in the right places with the right technology
  • Collaborating with your colleagues, you will contribute to the ongoing innovation and enhancement of our Data Engineering practices, particularly in areas such as testing, monitoring and performance optimization
  • You will engage in international project groups, fostering a collaborative and globally-minded approach 

Your profile:

  • You are excited about applying your technical and analytical expertise to the world of global logistics
  • Holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required
  • You demonstrate proven expertise in data engineering, database management, or similar roles
  • Additionally, you exhibit proficiency in utilizing Spark, SQL, Python and/ or other programming languages and frameworks associated with data engineering
  • Ideally, you have accrued experience working with platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake and Airflow
  • You have very strong analytical skills, enabling you to adeptly collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate substantial volumes of information with attention to detail and precision
  • You feel comfortable collaborating in international and interdisciplinary (project) teams and you speak English fluently
