Position

Level 2 Incident management for SAP.

Job description
All SAP related incidents are routed via our level 2 Support in Chennai. The support team will either resolve these incidents or assign them to the respective Level 3 support group in the Hapag-Lloyd Headquarter IT. In addition, the team monitors various SAP related interfaces and takes necessary steps to resolve error situations. The team works in close cooperation with the Level 3 Support team in the Hapag-Lloyd Headquarter. Hapag-Lloyd aims to hand over additional SAP related support tasks to the Chennai based team wherever possible.

Required Skillset

  1. We require basic SAP programing end debugging knowledge.
  2. In addition, we require SAP S/4 based technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
  • SAP Finance (Error handling batch input files / Analyze and resolve SAP authorization issues / Accounts payable including opentext Vendor Invoice Management)
  • SAP Controlling (Interface monitoring / run standard jobs on request / execute and monitor month end processing tasks)
  • SAP Procurement (EDI partner configuration / Interface monitoring / SAP Customizing for new plants)

Project tool chain support
In our current S/4 project we use the tool chain Atlassian JIRA <> SNP connector <> SAP Solution manager. Knowledge in these tools would be favorable:

  • Ticket handling tool Atlassian JIRA
  • SNP ALM Integrator
  • SAP Solution Manager

E2E Interface monitoring (Including AIF)
Our new tool for Interface handling will the SAP Application Interface framework (AIF). We search for resources with knowledge in Handling and Configuration of the SAP Application Interface framework. We require basic AIF Knowledge as an IT specialist monitor the Interfaces and provide error handling on technical side. We will provide training for basic business knowledge and business concepts to qualify the colleagues to support our worldwide business users in case of AIF handling issues.
