Your responsibilities:

As an Agile Coach/ Senior Agile Coach (m/f/d) you will be part of our Global LEAN and Agile Centre of Excellence, that drives the transformation of our ways of working in Hapag-Lloyd. You bring with you passion, experience and knowledge of LEAN thinking and Agility. You will be part of one of our strategic programs where your key role and responsibilities will be to:

  • Coach, role model and train teams across a large or complex program to adopt scaled LEAN & Agile ways of working, and LEAN & Agile values, practices, and tools
  • Work hands on with the teams at all levels: organizing and driving both team level and program level events
  • Help the teams identifying and removing impediments
  • Enabling cross functional and technical consistency between teams – facilitating collaboration and sync at every stage and key events such as demos, dependency & risk management etc.
  • Coach and upskill our Product Managers and Product Owners and make sure that their teams are equipped with what they need to deliver (high quality and healthy backlogs, swift feedback to and proximity with the teams)
  • Facilitate open and effective communication between the teams and stakeholders
  • Create an environment where autonomy to the teams while they work on their projects and build trust among them for better collaboration
  • Use coaching techniques that create an environment that increases cross-functional collaboration, transparency and promotes a culture of experimentation and innovation
  • Be an active member of our communities of practice to continuously improve and share knowledge on LEAN Agile practices and tools across the company
  • Foster data driven culture and decision making
    • Ensure data used is of high quality and real-time
    • Guide and train teams and stakeholders on data and tool usage, generating useful insights
    • Use data and observations to assess the health and maturity of the teams with the teams helping them improve
    • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives using data & tracking progress

Your tasks:

  • Passion for LEAN & Agile culture and people is a must, you are by nature a servant leader
  • 5-8 years in an Agile Coach role in scaled setups in a global, cross-functional multicultural organization (Scrum Master and/ or Agile Coach certification)
  • Practical experience of diverse Scaled Agile Framework, experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) role is an advantage
  • Proven knowledge and experience with LEAN practices and tools
  • Good general technology understanding, ideally experience working in IT
  • Experience working in a matrix organization
  • Analytical mindset with a highly structured way of working
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Reliable and motivated team player
  • Fluent in English
