Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Being a member of our international and dynamic team, you will actively guide and support our global reefer organization in digital, technical, and quality matters
  • Take over the product ownership for Hapag-Lloyd LIVE
  • Provide active support and training to Hapag-Lloyd Regions and Areas for all technical and digital reefer related topics
  • Become part of the Reefer Product development team to drive the FIS3 reefer transformation 
  • Support the Global Reefer Strategy with analytics, improvements and implementation of current and new Reefer Products (i.e. Hapag-Lloyd Live, ExtraFresh)   
  • Ownership of commercial and technical reefer processes such as Cold Treatment, Controlled Atmosphere, High Value and reefer related service agreements
  • Contribute to new reefer product requirements
  • Attend and assist reefer sales teams in trade fairs with reefer product expertise 
  • Participate in customer meetings to support HL sales with reefer product expertise
  • Report to the Reefer Product Excellence team lead

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Completed apprenticeship as liner shipping professional or similar qualification along with a minimum of 2-3 years on the job experience is needed in this role. Bachelor’s degree would be beneficial
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MS-Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Reefer technical knowledge or the willingness and attitude to learn and share your expertise is necessary
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Hapag-Lloyd applications (QlikView, HIP, FIS) or at least a high willingness and attitude to learn the handling of the tools. With that knowledge you will discover the Hapag-Lloyd reefer world
  • Willingness to travel
  • Very good command of written and spoken English, Spanish would be beneficial
