The roughly 2,600 employees assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment handle terminal-related activities and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations.

1. Main Objectives of this position:

  • Maximizes productivity and minimizes penalties to ensure a positive working environment. Ensures that customers are served in a timely and professional fashion in order to maintain and grow the account base.

2. Function and duties:

  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all services that Hapag-Lloyd offers and ensures that the information given to the account base is accurate.
  • Guides, coaches and supports the Customer Service Counter department.
  • Assists staff with trouble shooting and handles elevated customer problems.
  • Acts as back up for import/export coordinators when is necessary (i.e. vacations, absences).
  • Provides training on regulatory issues and other such as process and area systems

3. Qualifications and Technical Job Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Very good command of written and spoken English.
  • Ability to lead a team to achieve goals.
  • Ability to build, maintain and develop partnerships with individuals and groups within the organization.
  • Able to work well with others and follow guidelines.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Innovative and able to motivate self and team for business and personal development.
  • At lease 5 years of experience in Shipping and Logistics Industry.
