Responsibilities and Tasks:

As the Custodians of Process Excellence, your primary role will be to drive value creation across our global process landscape, enhancing productivity and overall efficiency within Hapag-Lloyd. Making Process Excellence a reality is our central objective. We are the navigators and setting the railguards for the organization, acting as transformation partners alongside Process Owners, and have a vital role in tracking and achieving the set goals.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead and drive our process excellence initiative and contribute to our global success:

 

  • Lead, manage and develop a Global Process Excellence team with a strong process excellence and results-driven mindset
  • Drive a solution-oriented and agile working methodology to deliver tangible benefits for the organization, ensuring a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Drive and expand our strategic roadmap for process excellence in alignment with Hapag-Lloyd's objectives
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation and proactive problem-solving within the team
  • Oversee the daily activities of the team, guiding them to achieve their targets effectively
  • Facilitate open communication within the team and across departments, promoting collaboration and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Optimize process performance and productivity to deliver a positive customer experience
  • Guide and empower process owners in optimizing efficiencies and continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Utilize data-driven methods for process analytics, leveraging your strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights for process optimization
  • Conduct data-driven analysis of end-to-end business processes, utilizing methodologies like Process Mining and Lean Six Sigma to identify and address bottlenecks effectively
  • Spearhead innovative process improvement strategies, collaborating closely with stakeholders
  • Uphold standardization measures and oversee automation and centralization initiatives

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership in continuous process improvement and Business Process Management with a results-driven mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver strategic roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives
  • Proficiency in data-driven analytics and methodologies such as Process Mining and Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience in shipping, logistics, maritime business, or business process related studies
  • Ability to spearhead innovative process improvement strategies in collaboration with stakeholder and senior management
  • Experienced team leader fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and knowledge sharing
  • Strong communication skills to foster collaboration and experience working with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Excellent analytical skills with a quick learning ability
  • Independent and target-oriented work style with a high level of commitment
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, additional languages are beneficial
