Responsibilities

  • Act as an integral part to improve the results of the Asia-Middle East trade on a roundtrip basis.
  • Maintain and upload Pricing Guidelines for the trade / relation considering contribution levels, ship systems profitability, cargo flows and imbalances.
  • Steering and improvement of revenue and contribution.
  • Enforce and monitor pricing guidelines to ensure trade/company targets are achieved.
  • Handling of communication with sales organization referring rate requests within respective scope.
  • Tender pricing for global and local Tenders.
  • Update Pain Levels.
  • Prepare and distribute customer letters to the sales organization (GRI etc.).
  • Participation in projects and studies as required.
  • Maintain BALBAO general baseline for automated booking acceptance.
  • Responsible for Customer Allocation approval and performance
  • Monitor and push performance of online products. 

Requirements

  • Degree in Shipping, Transportation or related discipline.
  • 3 years relevant experience in liner shipping/ transportation industry.
  • Good business acumen with ability to spot market trends and potential
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with Hapag-Lloyd application systems.
  • Analytical, systematic and efficient way of work.
  • Motivated, proactive and reliable.
  • Willing to take ownership of tasks and responsibility.
  • Team player with good communication skill.
