Your responsibilities

You will take on a key position in the interface between Controlling and IT departments. By constantly improving our systems with focus on SAP PaPM customization, modelling and development. You make an essential contribution to the digitalization and modernization of our Controlling-IT landscape. Our projects are international and interdisciplinary. Hence, you will closely work together with various business departments worldwide as well as our IT department developing concepts and solutions and having an impact on strategical solutions.

  • Participate in thrilling international and interdisciplinary projects
  • Join the transformation of our IT application landscape for Finance and Controlling by migrating from the SAP ECC platform form to S/4HANA and introducing SAP PaPM
  • Play a meaningful role in the design, development and configuration of PaPM solutions
  • Work with internal and external teams to build and deliver world-class content centric solutions for a global Liner Shipping company
  • Ensure PaPM model and information integrity as well as system operation in close cooperation with our IT departments
  • Provide PaPM support and training to the Finance and Controlling organization

Daher arbeitest du eng mit verschiedenen Fachabteilungen weltweit sowie unserer IT-Abteilung zusammen, entwickelst gemeinsam Konzepte und Lösungen und nimmst Einfluss auf strategische Entscheidungen.

  • Arbeite mit an spannenden internationalen und interdisziplinären Projekten
  • Gestalte die Transformation unserer IT-Anwendungslandschaft für Finanzen und Controlling mit, indem du von der SAP ECC-Plattform auf S/4HANA migrierst und SAP PaPM einführst
  • Trage maßgeblich zur Konzeption, Entwicklung und Konfiguration von PaPM-Lösungen bei
  • Arbeite mit internen und externen Teams zusammen, um erstklassige inhaltsorientierte Lösungen für ein globales Linienschifffahrtsunternehmen zu entwickeln und bereitzustellen
  • Zusammen mit unserer IT-Abteilung stellst du die Informationsintegrität sowie den  Systembetriebs des PaPM-Modells sicher
  • Du leistest PaPM-Support und bietest Schulungen für die Finanz- und Controlling Abteilung an

Your Profile

  • STEM or economics degree (bachelor's or master's) or equivalent qualification
  • Basic understanding of Finance and Controlling concepts
  • Work experience with PaPM, end-to-end process implementation, ideally in the area of Finance and Controlling
  • Ability to build and configure financial data models, business rules and cost allocations in PaPM
  • Ability to develop remote function calls in PaPM, e.g. in Python or similar language
  • Hands-on experience with SAP technologies like SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA
  • Prior experience with designing and developing business process flows, business rules, functional and technical specifications, and calculation logics will be helpful
  • Understanding of cost and revenue allocation process design and implementation as well as transfer pricing requirements, intercompany transactions and financial close is highly desirable
  • High affinity for numbers, data and IT combined with excellent analytic skills and a process-oriented way of thinking
  • Fast comprehension and structured approach to complex problems
  • Practical experience in processing information and creating presentations
  • Proven English skills, both written and spoken

Dein Profil

  • Abgeschlossenes MINT oder wirtschaftswissenschaftliches Studium (Bachelor oder Master) oder gleichwertige Qualifikation
  • Grundlegendes Verständnis von Finanz- und Controllingkonzepten
  • Praktkische Erfahrung mit PaPM, End-to-End-Prozessimplementierung, idealerweise im Bereich Finanzen und Controlling
  • Fähigkeit zur Erstellung und Konfiguration von Finanzdatenmodellen, Geschäftsregeln und Kostenverrechnungen in PaPM
  • Fähigkeit zur Entwicklung von Remote Function Calls in PaPM, z.B. in Python oder einer ähnlichen Sprache
  • Praktische Erfahrung mit SAP-Technologien wie SAP ECC und SAP S/4HANA
  • Erste Erfahrungen mit der Konzeption und Entwicklung von Geschäftsprozessabläufen, Geschäftsregeln, funktionalen und technischen Spezifikationen und Berechnungslogiken sind von Vorteil
  • Verständnis für die Gestaltung und Umsetzung von Kosten- und Ertragszuweisungsprozessen sowie für die Anforderungen an Verrechnungspreise, konzerninterne Transaktionen und Finanzabschlüsse wünschenswert
  • Hohe Zahlen-, Daten- und IT-Affinität verbunden mit exzellenten analytischen Fähigkeiten und prozessorientierter Denkweise
  • Schnelle Auffassungsgabe und strukturiertes Vorgehen bei komplexen Problemstellungen
  • Praktische Erfahrung in der Aufbereitung von Informationen und Erstellung von Präsentationen
  • Praxiserprobte Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
