Charted Accountant with mandatory minimum 2 years of working experience excluding articleship
Support in compliance in respect of Direct Taxes, Financial Audit & compliance & ensuring support for ultimate customer servicing.
Job Specification - Key Accountabilities
GENERAL LEDGER
- Day to day supporting in Taxation function of all entity ensuring timely payments & fillings etc.
- Data Support on Day-to-Day Tax notices, Tax Assessments of company
- Support for Statutory Audit, Tax Audit & related compliances
- 26 AS Reconciliation, Tracking & reconciliation with Books.
- SFT filling with Income Tax Reporting Portal
- Day to day Customer reply in respect of TDS/DIT/Income Notices etc
- Tax & other MIS requirement of Local/HO management.
- Monthly Corporate Tax Provisions/accrual in SAP, Quarter Tax netting
- Support for Monthly closing of Books & related activities.
- Reporting Tax Litigation & follow-up for resolving it.
- Monthly & Quarterly Withholding Tax Compliance.
- Support on /DIT/Freight Tax return/remittance etc.
- Support in filling Tax Litigations Matters for HL Entities
- Support on Secretarial & MCA compliance
- MSME compliance & reply to customer.
- Updation of compliance tracker along with relevant compliance data on share folder of region.
- Day to Day tax related support to other departments.
- Preparation of tax audit.
Qualifications and Technical Job Requirements
Industry Knowledge
- Charted Accountant cleared in 2021.
- Knowledge to prepare Audit report.
- Knowledge to prepare Annexure.
- Minimum 2 years of experience post qualification in direct tax.
- Degree as an accountant or practitioner with verifiable experience.
- Good Knowledge of Finance, Accounting & Taxation
- Familiar with shipping operation and financial aspects
- Timely update on the regulation & compliances
Business Systems/IT
- Awareness of data quality importance & Security
- Good knowledge of user application systems (SAP, FIS, MS Office, Word, Excel)
- Working knowledge & systems support optimization.
- Ability to promptly process data and request under pressure.
- Understanding of data quality benchmarking and management.
