Your responsibilities:

Your task is to restructure how Hapag-Lloyd handles Inland transportations. The existing Transport Dispatch function is being transformed to Inland Delivery - with a focus on customer care.  At the same time, you will support the development and rollout of the new Transport Management System (TMS), which will replace the current FIS2 Transport screens.

  • Engaging with Product Owner, IT, Business Experts and Super Users – along with TMS provider and System Integrator – to ensure the best possible design for new TMS
  • Participating in the rollout and support of Inland Delivery in relevant Quality Service Centers (QSC’s) and Subareas
  • Connecting with Regions / Areas concerning Inland Delivery to facilitate best practice sharing as well as collection of requirements for further development
  • Acting together with regional teams – as well as the Super User network in QSC’s and Subareas – to ensure strong support of users globally
  • Working closely with Regions, Areas and IT to support Transport as a Product between now and the shutdown of FIS2
  • Supporting the rollout of the TMS system
  • Ongoing participation linking systems, processes and users in the clarification of pain points, escalation of requirements and best possible usage of relevant systems
  • Coordinating with Global Business Support and Product Owner on standard process definitions
  • Establishing and monitoring KPI’s for tasks within the Inland Delivery role in consultation with the Inland Organization

Your profile:

  • Transport Dispatch/Operations process knowledge with at minimum 5 years work experience
  • Customer Service skills and experience
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and distinctive goal orientation
  • Analytical skills and efficient way of working
  • Very good communication skills in English
  • Willing to travel globally
