Your responsibilities:

Your task is to help enhance transport visibility and take over the role of Product Owner for the IT product Transport Plan, Monitoring and Automation (TPMA) as part of the Inland Cluster. You will develop the future setup of the Transport Plan, which is an integral basis of keeping both customers and stakeholders up-to-date on shipment status. Together with your IT counterparts you will drive the FIS3 transformation while working alongside the owner of Hapag-Lloyd’s commercial IoT container tracking product to drive overall shipment visibility forward.

This position includes the following tasks in detail:

  • Driving TPMA development including innovation workshops to identify and challenge product ideas for transport visibility with internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinating and prioritizing IT backlog, facilitate result documentation
  • Building the product development plan along the milestones with colleagues from IT, Operations, Sales and Equipment
  • Facilitating stakeholder updates and incorporating feedback into product roadmap
  • Analyzing global Hapag-Lloyd processes which will be enriched with new information to gain operational efficiency
  • Own the IT product and manage development in an agile way together with your IT counterparts

Your profile:

  • University degree in business studies, engineering, service management, or similar degrees
  • First professional experience within different functional areas of supply chain telematics
  • Experiences as business expert/product owner in IT projects, their usual proceedings and development cycles
  • Competences for handling large amounts of data in a structured way
  • Experience in working with the popular data analytic tools such as QlikView and WebFocus
  • Excellent MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
  • Experience in business process analyses and performance measurement
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
  • Fluent English
