Your responsibilities:

  • Develop existing as well as new global Sales capability building programs to support/change/improve Sales skill sets and behaviors
  • Help evaluating organizational capabilities and identify training needs
  • Oversee training material and suggest improvements
  • Act as project manager on chosen initiatives/projects, and cooperate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Challenge, coach and develop Sales leaders and teams to apply “best practice” tools as an integrated element of everyday business for impactful relations with our customers
  • Help creating a customer-centric culture across the global Sales organization to be able to efficiently and effectively serve our customers
  • Travelling as deemed necessary for approx. 50-60 days per year

Your profile:

  • University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business, Commerce, Marketing or similar
  • Solid project management/steering and stakeholder management skills to drive and/or support projects and pilots when and where needed
  • Professional experience, preferably as sales manager/sales management and as sales representative
  • Experience with conceptual development
  • Excellent presentation and dialogue skills and ability to transfer key messages in a convincing way
  • Capable of mapping, understanding and working with information in an organized and analytic manner
  • Strong ability to implement solutions and changes in cooperation with appropriate HQ and Regional/Area stakeholders for sustainable gains for Hapag-Lloyd as well as our customers
  • Good command of power point and capable of designing/building bespoke and impactful quality presentations
  • A natural interest in and flair for digital/tech solutions supporting the general work and efficiency gains for the Commercial Academy programs  
  • Experience as facilitator and trainer is considered an advantage. As a minimum a desire to become one and develop capabilities/skills (with proper help and guidance) is key
  • Fluent in English is a prerequisite. Language skills beyond is considered an advantage
