Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Development and maintain databases, monitor, and ensure dataflow, security and data quality (e.g. MS SQL Server SSIS)
  • Develop and document the system architecture (data exchange, formats and general data architecture) and align these with IT
  • Consolidation of various operational, technical and commercial data sources to facilitate, postprocessing, analysis and usage of data
  • API Development, implementation, and maintenance (e.g., MS SQL Server SSIS)
  • Implementation of new analytic tools and methods
  • Creation of dashboards in BI tools (e.g., Qlik Sense)
  •  Creation and automation of standardised / routine reports (e.g., Qlik Sense (N-Printing), MS Reporting Services SSRS)
  • Analyse cross-functional business requirements for solution development
  • Participation and/or management of IT-related projects with internal and external providers
  • Perform ad hoc analysis using existing and new data systems (e.g., AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, SQL)
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating tools and systems in use
  • Project management Fleet Analytics software

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant discipline or relevant working experience
  • Experienced in data modelling, data preparation and analysis
  • Experience in shipping and knowledge of process flows, data structures is preferred
  • Strong Analytical skills with high affinity for numbers and integration of IT infrastructures
  • Fluent with BI tools (e.g., Qlik Sense)
  • Detailed knowledge in common database languages (SQL) and cloud computing applications (AWS)
  • Proactive and result driven, able to work under pressure with a positive attitude
  • Independent and structured way of working
  • Fluent in written/spoken English and with good communication skills
