Main objective

  • Set and publish Pricing Guidelines for the trade.
  • Steering and improvement of revenue and contribution of the trade / relation 

Function and duties

  • Set and publish pricing guidelines (digital and non-digital) for the Oceania & Short Sea scope/services considering contribution levels, ship systems profitability, cargo flows and imbalances.
  • Enforce and monitor pricing guidelines to ensure trade/company targets are achieved.
  • Handling of communication with sales organization and other trade management teams referring to respective scope/service
  • Perform Daily Vol/Rev/CL2 Report
  • Weekly follow-up of Negative List and update of Approved Business List.
  • Handling of tenders.
  • Responsible for Customer allocation approval and performance
  • Participation in projects and studies as required

Qualification and Job Requirements

  • Degree in Shipping, Transportation or related discipline
  • Relevant experience in liner shipping/ transportation industry
  • Analytical, systematic and efficient way of work
  • Motivated, proactive and reliable
  • Willing to take ownership of tasks and responsibility.
  • Team player with good communication skill
  • Good business acumen with ability to spot market trends and potential.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with Hapag-Lloyd application systems
