Your responsibilities:

As Global IT Change Manager, you will be part of a small team which is responsible for driving the transformation of our global IT Organization within a growth scenario and a major overall transformation

 

Together we:

  • Design and conduct communication formats that reach out to our 750 IT people across three locations (Hamburg, Gdansk and Chennai)
  • Prioritize communication topics with stakeholders of 16 major change initiatives
  • Build unified stories across multiple initiatives within the overall IT transformation

 

We require from you: 

  • Support and strengthen our change activities including Hybrid Townhall Meetings, Deep Dives, Change Ambassador Sessions and other formats
  • Take over editorial office tasks to create content for different channels
  • Create AV media content with state-of-the art equipment
  • Provide support and training, facilitate peer learning and consulting for those leading the change

Your profile:

  • At least 3 years of experience in change management with a systemic perspective, communication, organizational development or similar role in an international context (internal or consultancy)
  • Digital affinity and experience working in a tech or IT environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization from team level to top management
  • Curiosity about new topics, perspectives and people
  • Moderation skills
  • Strong observation skills on needs and resistance within the organization in order to precisely select approaches and methods
  • Outstanding interpersonal and social competences in combination with resilience in a volatile environment
  • Experience in creating AV media content
  • Proficiency with MS Office (especially PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
  • Self-motivated and committed to making organizational impact
  • Excellent communication skills in German & English (written & verbal)
  • Knowledge of agile methods, training, team development, coaching or leadership development are an advantage
  • Willingness to work at our office in Hamburg 3 days/ week and 2 days remote according to our policy

German language expectations: We expect all international candidates to be willing to learn at least the basics of the German language in case they are accepted for the position. This will enable you to participate in social and community life in Germany and at our company premises in the best possible way.

  • Understanding of HL IT products 
  • Understanding of container shipping business is an advantage
