Responsibilities and tasks:
- Contribute to the development of spend dashboards including spend structure analyses (e.g., ABC view, historical spend development) for all procurement activities
- Development and implementation of KPIs for direct and indirect procurement, making deviations transparent to the relevant stakeholders
- Monitor and enable savings reporting by implementing savings tracking methodology (e.g., differentiation of savings types, baselining, calculation approaches)
- Provide key insights, including industry and supplier capacity analysis for short and long-term business continuity planning
- Oversee further analyses, e.g., cost and price development (YOY), number of orders / invoices, etc.
- Collaborate closely with Category Managers and Regions and other business units to develop forecasts and translate them into demand and price estimates for future purchasing activities
- Support reporting process for procurement (e.g., price planning, cost/spend development, savings management, etc.)
- Support budget and forecast planning, manage target/actual comparisons and variance analyses, and drive the further development of existing cost center reporting
