Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Contribute to the development of spend dashboards including spend structure analyses (e.g., ABC view, historical spend development) for all procurement activities
  •  Development and implementation of KPIs for direct and indirect procurement, making deviations transparent to the relevant stakeholders
  • Monitor and enable savings reporting by implementing savings tracking methodology (e.g., differentiation of savings types, baselining, calculation approaches)
  •  Provide key insights, including industry and supplier capacity analysis for short and long-term business continuity planning
  • Oversee further analyses, e.g., cost and price development (YOY), number of orders / invoices, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with Category Managers and Regions and other business units to develop forecasts and translate them into demand and price estimates for future purchasing activities
  • Support reporting process for procurement (e.g., price planning, cost/spend development, savings management, etc.)
  • Support budget and forecast planning, manage target/actual comparisons and variance analyses, and drive the further development of existing cost center reporting

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Degree in the field of business administration, logistics, transportation management and / or qualified shipping specialist or comparable qualification
  • First experiences in controlling or other analytical fields, procurement and/or operational function
  • Experience in project management would be a plus
  • Profound in the usage of the relevant controlling systems and tools (e.g. MS Excel and Qlik View/Sense)
  • Result-oriented, enthusiastic, proactive and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Effective communicator, fluent in English, both verbal and written
