Your responsibilities:

As Financial Controller, you will play an important role in driving financial performance and process improvements within the organization. Working as part of the Controlling team, you will provide insight and guidance on financial results while eagerly developing and enhancing financial processes for our Terminal Holding. This position requires close collaboration and interaction with various stakeholders throughout the organization.

  • Drive process improvements related to the novel Terminal segment
  • Support in the development of a BI system and working templates
  • Coordinate budgeting, financial planning and consolidation activities with the new Terminal Holding
  • Prepare and moderate monthly result calls with the Terminal Holding to discuss performance and deviations from planning
  • Definition and mapping of liner and terminal accounts into group accounts for latest Terminal entities
  • Sparring partner for management, different departments and consulting in terms of analysis and process improvements
  • Create reports that provide insightful analysis, explaining deviation to forecasts, identify required action items, and clearly frame decisions to be made
  • Regular and ad-hoc analysis including initiation of counter-measures

Your profile:

  • Degree in business/economics or science or similar qualification, combined with 2+ years of work experience
  • Great affinity for numbers and data; very good analytic skills
  • Comprehensive and coordinated approach to difficult issues
  • Experience with BI tools (Board, Infor, QlikView) beneficial
  • Independent and outcome oriented work style with great commitment and flexibility
  • Experience in preparing management information and presentations
  • Strong communication skills at all levels
  • Have good team spirit
