The CSNB (Customer Service and Niche Business) project is your chance to shape the future of Hapag-Lloyd! 

With this project we are reshaping the way we are doing business in Hapag-Lloyd. An improved customer experience enabled by self service solutions, automated processes, and increased visibility for an improved customer experience.

We want to transform of our Import, Customs, Invoice, Dispute, Documentation, and self-service capabilities with a higher degree of automation to significantly reduce workload (less manual work, fewer errors).

To achieve this, we are building various IT components from scratch in an agile way with state-of-the-art technology.

Your responsibilities:

We are looking for you as Product Owner for Notification Center. The Notification Center is about our creating innovate tools to provide an excellent customers’ experience by keeping them well informed of every relevant data they need, available at the right moment, whether is proactively or as the relevant journey milestones throughout the shipping lifecycle.

As a business expert for Notification Center, you will…

  • Play an important role in our transformation journey: Build a new and innovative work environment for improved customer experience by self-service features, automated process, increased visibility for a more proactive and value adding service approach
  • Take ownership for Notification Center, from start to end
  • Identify, ideate, and challenge analytical requirements and opportunities for our new Notification Centre product system together with the relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate and plan the IT developments together with your counterpart in IT
  • Prioritize requirements together with the PMO and in line with the overall CSNB vision
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to drive the concept development
  • Develop relevant reports and dashboards. Plan and execute their rollouts
  • Develop analytical concepts that make a difference
  • Support CS Director i.e. in project coordination on ad hoc basis

Your profile:

To be successful in this role, you should...

  • Have experience in a transformation project regarding customer service or as part of a large project implementation
  • Be able to create a business concept from scratch, content creation for training materials and change management materials, execution of solutions and implementations
  • Be excited about challenging the status quo, coming up with creative and innovative solutions and working conceptually
  • Be interested to take over ownership in a dynamic project environment, lead working groups and to work independently on our project deliverables to deliver them at the desired timeline
  • Have an assertive personality and be able to convince relevant stakeholders in the organization
  • Feel comfortable presenting results and project status updates to involved partners and stakeholders
  • Have excellent command of spoken and written English

German language expectations: We expect all international candidates to be willing to learn at least the basics of the German language in case they are accepted for the position. This will enable you to participate in social and community life in Germany and at our company premises in the best possible way.
