Team and Project overview:

We are seeking an entry-level Junior Software Asset Manager to join our team. Become a part of our license management team in Gdańsk and ensure the company-wide compliance of software environment. Support colleagues in business and IT with their questions around the use of software across the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management and tracking of software licenses and contracts to ensure compliance with software vendors' licensing agreements
  • Maintain accurate records of software licenses, including purchase information, usage data, and renewal schedules
  • Monitor software usage to identify opportunities for license optimization and cost savings
  • Assist in the development and implementation of software asset management policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other teams within the organization, including IT and procurement, to ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and optimize software costs
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to software asset management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics or related field (entry-level candidates are welcome to apply)
  • Knowledge of software licensing models and agreements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of English language

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with software asset management tools and technologies 
  • Experience with software procurement and vendor management 
  • Certification in software asset management, such as the Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or the Certified Software Asset Management Professional (CSAMP)
