Team and Project overview:

The Digital Talents Team is a highly collaborative and geographically dispersed unit (Hamburg & Gdańsk), serving as an essential connector between multiple Hapag-Lloyd departments, including HR, Corporate Communications, and all Tech-focused teams. The team is dedicated to advancing Hapag-Lloyd's most valuable success factor, our employees, through thoughtful and diverse initiatives. Their mission is to equip our IT staff with the skillsets necessary to confidently navigate any future tech-related challenges.

Current projects include a wide range of endeavors, such as establishing a robust Hapag-Lloyd Tech brand and fostering a strong engineering culture among all technology employees. The team also focuses on Tech talent acquisition, reskilling and upskilling programs while boosting internal and external communication relating to technology matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and implementing a long-term Employer Branding strategy for Hapag-Lloyd’s Tech departments and social media campaigns.
  • Searching for new trends, tools, and communication channels and monitoring the market as well as competitors in the Employer Branding area.
  • Managing content on Hapag-Lloyd Tech career pages.
  • Writing texts for the internal intranet, website, landing page as well as for the preparation of communications and mailing campaigns.
  •  Organizing and participating in industry events (including job fairs, conferences, career days, meet-ups etc.) to represent HL Tech externally.
  • Staying up to date with current Employer Branding and content trends on digital channels, as well as monitoring competitors to develop fact-based recommendations.
  • Establishing and improving KPIs for monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of campaigns on an ongoing basis to ensure maximum ROI and to provide feedback of these results.

 

Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, PR, Branding, and/or Marketing.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in developing employer brand strategies.
  • Awareness of the challenges of the IT industry - recognizing business needs and understanding the bigger picture.
  • Strong spoken and written Polish and English language skills (at least C1).
  • Knowledge of advertising (Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Ads, YouTube) and analytical tools (e.g. Google Ads) and experience in digital marketing (copywriting, SEO, SEM).
  • Significant hands-on experience in event planning, budgeting, and organizing paired with the drive to work independently and with multiple competing priorities.
  • Extensive insight into various job portals and knowledge on where diverse talents can be found.
  • Strong skills in creating original content that targets a specific audience and meets company objectives.
