As a Service Delivery Manager for EDI Technical Integration, you support the maintenance and optimization of existing technical integrations (EDI and other file transfers) and extend our network with new partners and features. As a central expert, you lead and organize your team in order to support the daily operations in the best possible way.

Equal parts technical, organizational and strategical, this role provides the opportunity for you to work on a technical level and at the same time to develop the capability to lead a team and also drive improvements within the dynamic environment of the logistics industry.

As a Technical Integration Manager, you works as a buffer or “information agent” between our Architecture and Product Teams- dynamically managing the technical relationship with external partners to alleviate pressure on the Engineering team and also reserving their resources for complex issues.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • You set up and maintain technical connections with partners, customers or authorities using our existing Axway B2BI or a scripting framework
  • You are the line manager of a flexible and dynamic team of 5 specialists
  • You manage the topics of certificate management and procurement within your and your team's area of responsibility
  • You make sure that all relevant documentation is up to date and all parts which are relevant for our support provider are handed over to the respective colleagues and partners
  • You manage the quality of our support provider within your area of responsibility
  • Together with your team, you improve the processes and collaboration with all stakeholders to promote standardization and service delivery across the whole organization
  • You identify, plan and promote possible improvements or changes with respect to our tooling or team responsibilities to assist the platform and architecture team

Requirements and Qualifications

  • You have an Engineering background, with experience in LINUX awk shell scripting and some administrative background (e.g. crontab)
  • You bring experience with transport protocols (e.g., FTP, SFTP, FTPS, AS2 and/or Webservices)
  • You possess good analytical skills, a structured approach, and a high reliability
  • You show great communication (fluently in English) and organization skills
  • You are willing to work at our office in Hamburg 3 days/ week and 2 days remote according to our policy

German language expectations: We expect all international candidates to be willing to learn at least the basics of the German language in case they are accepted for the position. This will enable you to participate in social and community life in Germany and at our company premises in the best viable way.

  • Experience in certificate management (private/public keys, converting and configuration)
  • Experience with Axway B2BI
  • Integration experience with logistics providers
  • Experience in managing a team
