In the exciting environment of global trade, questions like these shape our business. The Business Intelligence & Analytics team designs and builds analytics solutions to provide insightful answers to our colleagues worldwide. We work in small, cross-functional project teams jointly with specialists across Revenue Management, Network, and Fleet Management. You share an office with a diverse team of likeminded Data Scientists, Data Artists and colleagues with in-depth knowledge about our business. 

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify, ideate, and challenge the way we evaluate container imbalances in our global network  
  • Conduct the regular review of container imbalances with regional business experts
  • Send out regular management summaries about our imbalance situation to our stakeholders
  • Execute the performance management for the container imbalance review process
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses on the imbalances and flows of our containers to optimize our pricing
  • Conduct workshops & trainings to develop and roll out new concepts and ideas

Your profile:

  • University degree with a focus on Business Administration, Economics, or other equivalent fields  
  • Ideally basic knowledge of shipping and logistics  
  • Passion for applying quantitative modeling techniques to real-life business scenarios
  • High level of logical thinking and organizational skills
  • Good degree of initiative and commitment, as well as a very independent work organization
  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
