Automation of our business processes is a key success factor to support our growth strategy. For orchestration of services in our business processes, Hapag-Lloyd is introducing the Camunda 8 BPM solution. We are looking for talented, technology-driven people to further integrate Camunda into our IT landscape and to help us in the adoption of the usage of the Camunda platform.

Your responsibilities:

  • You enhance and maintain the AWS EKS environments for the Camunda workflow solution and take care of further integration of Camunda into our IT landscape
  • You collaborate with various skilled IT product teams on design, development and optimization of the workflow processes running on Camunda
  • Together with your colleagues from our business departments, you analyze complex business processes and find creative solutions to new and existing challenges
  • You define, collect, and develop customer and stakeholder requirements for the integration of Camunda and for workflows running on the Camunda platform
  • You derive user stories from the collected business requirements and collaborate with external development partners in order to successfully implement them

Your profile:

What you'll need to succeed 

  • Completed degree in computer science or comparable
  • Proven experience in Camunda, preferably in version 8
  • Experience in cloud technologies and development of container-based applications (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) as well as experience in the area of "Infrastructure as Code" (e.g. Terraform)
  • Experience in software development and relevant tools, such as version management, CI/CD, planning and collaboration tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, ...)
  • Experience in Java EE development, knowledge of Domain-driven design is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical skills and high mental flexibility
  • As an international company, we require good written and spoken English skills

  • Understanding of HL IT Products
  • Understanding of container shipping business is an advantage
