The Knowledge Center, located in Gdańsk, is a hub for innovation and develop state-of-the-art business and technology solutions to help us navigate the future. And we want to do that together with you.

Team and Project overview:

We aim to build a big data analytics platform for a global shipping company - Hapag-Lloyd AG. In Gdańsk, we established a Knowledge Center. Within it - Solutions for Analytics (SFA). A group of top IT experts, designers, and executors, will apply AWS cloud technology in the maritime and shipping industry. We are quality-driven and have a passion for cloud (especially AWS), analytics, and the power of positive changes that technology solutions bring to business globally.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring timeliness and quality of releases 
  • Communicating with multiple stakeholders across the globe 
  • Constantly improving release process
  • Preparation of scopes, plans, schedules and other documents related to the implementation and change management on many systems and IT infrastructure 
  • Work on synchronization of implementation plans, including mass work on IT infrastructure 
  • Minimizing the risk of interruptions in the supply of IT services 
  • Implementation of activities related to the direct management of shift schedules as part of the maintenance of IT systems 
  • Support of units responsible for maintenance in solving problems related to IT systems and platforms 
  • Coordination and detailed monitoring of the process of managing implementations and mass changes
  • Cooperation with the supervisor in optimizing the implementation processes and developing and updating implementation standards and mass changes 

 

General Background:

  • University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related disciplines 
  • At least three years of professional experience in the field of release management, 
  • Continuous self-learning attitude combined with high level of curiosity to explore new ways of working 
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English, customer focused, collaborative and result-oriented 
  • Passion to give others an advantage of understanding by using straightforward language and to drive the learning of all team members
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and organize work to meet deadlines 
  • Knowledge of Agile processes of IT Service Level Management, Incident, Problem and Change Management 
  • Experience as an implementation coordinator or release manager 
  • High communication skills
