Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Orchestrate terminal negotiations with focus on structured preparation within specified regions
- Ensure comprehensive strategic coverage of the terminal procurement strategy with focus on regional vendors
- Collaborate and coordinate extensively with procurement leadership to develop agreements which guarantee competitive cost and operational performance (Service Level Agreements) at the terminals and for the operators in scope
- Provide input for a comprehensive budget, balancing regional requirements, available vendor landscape and overarching global strategies
- Oversee development, enhancement and execution of negotiation strategies towards regional terminal operators and ensure that lessons learned and results are captured and documented in a structured way
- Interact closely with contract management to ensure all agreements are realizing contractual values
- Develop strategic supplier management programs and create, evolve and enhance stakeholder relationships
- Evaluate terminal performance in close cooperation with vendor management and regional procurement
- Ensure balancing of potentials provided by key regional suppliers vs. global / strategic vendors
- Manage insights and research activities for the relevant vendor segment. Manage the provision of relevant market insights for the regions and other internal stakeholders
- Ensure close alignment with other procurement-internal and -external stakeholders to support identification of additional value add potentials for assigned vendor segment
